About
Mali's Play Therapy

Welcome to Mali's Play Therapy. Mali is a qualified Play Therapist, accredited by BAPT, insured to practice, and DBS certified. Mali's Play Therapy uses play to help children process and work through difficult feelings and challenges. We are also dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment to support their emotional well-being and personal growth.

Our Approach
At Mali's Play Therapy, we offer personalised play therapy interventions tailored to each child's unique needs, combining evidence-based practices with a compassionate approach. This involves using child-centred play therapy where the therapist will follow the needs of the child. Play is used to support children with communicating in a way that is more accessible for their stage of development (Landreth, 2012). It also provides them the opportunity to express themselves, process and explore difficult feelings and experiences in a safer way, by using the resources to provide symbolic distance.
